Step 1 — Purchase or Start a Free Trial
Licences are purchased directly from the RapidDox product pages. Choose the BI platform you need to document:

Standard and Agency plans
Each product page lists Standard and Agency plan details. Standard is for internal teams; Agency is for consultants and firms documenting on behalf of clients. See Licensing & Plans.
Step 2 — Download the Installer
After purchase, a download link is emailed to the purchaser. You can also log in to app.rapidlens.com at any time to download the latest version.

Step 3 — Install
- Run the downloaded installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
- Launch RapidDox from your Applications folder (macOS) or Start Menu (Windows).
- Sign in with the email and password you used when purchasing.
Firewall / network requirement
RapidDox contacts app.rapidlens.com on startup to validate your licence. If your machine is behind a restrictive firewall, ask your network administrator to whitelist
app.rapidlens.com. The application will not start without a successful licence check.Step 4 — Generate Your First Documentation
- Open RapidDox.
- Click Open File and select a Tableau or Power BI file.
- Choose your output format (PDF, Word, Excel, CSV, or HTML).
- Click Generate.
- RapidDox saves the documentation to your chosen output folder.
