A fully formatted document with sections for each metadata category. Sections can be toggled in Customise — Tableau Workbook & Data Source.
Word (.docx)
Uses standard Heading 1/2/3 styles, rendering correctly in Microsoft Word and Google Docs. Fully editable — useful for adding commentary or client branding on top of the generated content.
Excel (.xlsx)
Organises metadata across multiple worksheets — one per category — making it easy to filter and search programmatically.
CSV
A flat file with one row per metadata object. Useful for ingesting into data catalogs, governance tools, or custom processing pipelines.
HTML
A single self-contained file that opens in any browser without a web server. Ideal for publishing to an internal wiki or attaching to a Jira/Confluence page.
